Spinal Biomechanics and Posture Restoration
First it is determined how your condition is compared to a researched
spinal model of normal. To do this we use small x-rays to evaluate the biomechanical
integrity of the spine. With this information, we are able to apply scientific,
specific adjustments and prescribe exercises & rehab protocols that are based upon
your specific posture, and the end result of this treatment is a measurable change
from your intial findings. Which is the beginning to get your body to start functioning
again.
Without the specific x-rays:
- We would not be able to determine your specific problem area.
- We would be guessing about your health.
- We would not be able to give proper life changing exercises to you.
- Our treatment success would be limited.
We do not guess with your healthcare, and neither should
you. A specialist should be thorough and concise. So, if you want to see a doctor
who doesn’t care to take the proper measurements, backed by research, there are
plenty of them in our healthcare systems…..unfortunately. Our care is designed to
help you at your level of needs, to do anything less is not in our standards.
Patient participation
Your level of success on your return to health is directly related to your participation
in the process. The correction achieved by the doctor will not be permanent
without your commitment to rehabilitating the muscles & ligaments of your spine
that have deformed over time in response to the stresses that broke them down. If
you do not care to have an active role in helping yourself get better and only want
to come in and see the doctor(s) and let them fix your
problems, you’ll never suceed in getting your problems totally under control. Research
tells us that when you take an active role in your healthcare treatments the outcomes
are positive. To get healthier you need to know how, learn how, take action and
do it. When that happens people start asking you what you have been doing because
they notice the change in you. Be ready to get healthier today, it is in you. You
just need professionals to point you in the right direction.
